OVERVIEW

Welcome to Grief & Grit - a small, family-run business with big feelings, bold humour, and a whole lotta heart. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Grief & Grit, a business that’s been built while grieving, healing, and keeping it real.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules, rights, and responsibilities involved when you interact with our website, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If that’s not your vibe, feel free to close the tab—but we hope you stay.

1. ACCESS & ACCOUNTS

By using our Services, you confirm that you’re of legal age in your region (or have permission from your grown-ups if you’re underage). You’re responsible for any information you provide, and you promise it’s accurate and up to date. Keep your account details safe and don’t go sharing them with your dog, your ex, or randoms.

2. OUR PRODUCTS

We do our best to represent our products truthfully - but screens vary, and sometimes the colour you see may not be exactly what arrives. If you have any questions about a product, reach out before buying.

We reserve the right to change product details, prices, or availability at any time. Basically, we adapt as we grow - and grief taught us that flexibility is key.

3. ORDERS

Placing an order = offering to buy. We’ll confirm when we accept it. If for any reason we need to change or cancel your order, we’ll contact you using the details you provided.

Please double-check everything before submitting - we’re a small team and changes after the fact might not be possible. Orders are subject to our Refund Policy, which we encourage you to read.

4. PRICING & BILLING

Prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated. They don’t include shipping, taxes, or customs fees (we wish they did). Promotions might pop up from time to time - if they do, the promo terms apply.

You agree to provide accurate payment info and update it as needed. Long story short: don’t try to pay with a dodgy card, and we won’t ghost your order.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We do our best to get your order packed and shipped quickly, but once it's in the hands of our postal pals, it’s out of our control. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Everything on this site - designs, words, humour, products - is owned by us (unless stated otherwise). Don’t steal it, copy it, or pass it off as your own. Sharing because you love us? Amazing. Using our stuff without credit? Not so cool.

7. OPTIONAL TOOLS & THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We sometimes use tools or features powered by other platforms (like Shopify). We’re not responsible for how those tools operate, so use them at your own risk and read their terms too. Same goes for any links to external sites - we’re not liable for what happens once you leave our digital home.

8. SHOPIFY RELATIONSHIP

Grief & Grit is powered by Shopify, which means they handle some of the techy stuff behind the scenes. But any purchases you make are directly with us—not Shopify. So if you need help, come to us (not them—they’ll just send you back).

9. PRIVACY POLICY

Your info matters. We treat it with respect, and we recommend reading our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected, stored, and used.

10. FEEDBACK

We love hearing from you - even when it’s brutally honest. If you leave a review, submit a suggestion, or tag us on socials, you’re giving us permission to share it (with credit). Just don’t be a troll, and don’t include viruses, hate speech, or anything illegal.

11. ERRORS & INACCURACIES

Sometimes we stuff up. If there’s an error on our site - be it pricing, description, or availability - we reserve the right to fix it, even after you’ve placed an order.

12. BE COOL (PROHIBITED USES)

Please don’t use our site to spam, scam, hack, steal, or harass anyone - including us. Violating these terms may get your access cut off faster than you can say “I was just kidding.”

13. TERMINATION

We can terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, especially if you break the rules. You’ll still be responsible for any purchases made before the breakup.

14. DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY

We do our best to offer you awesome products and an honest experience. But legally speaking, everything we provide is “as is” - no guarantees, warranties, or promises of perfection. We're not responsible for any losses or damages beyond what the law allows.

15. INDEMNITY

If your actions land us in legal hot water, you agree to cover any costs we incur as a result. Play nice, and we won’t have to worry about this section.

16. OTHER IMPORTANT BITS

  • If a part of these Terms becomes unenforceable, the rest still stands.

  • These Terms make up the full agreement between you and us.

  • You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms without our written permission.

  • We can update these Terms at any time - check back now and then.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled through local courts - no drama, just legal clarity.
